Integration courses and German courses for the profession - near you or online
The CJD is a German language course provider recognised by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
With our courses in Baden-Württemberg, we support people with a migration or refugee background in learning and improving German for everyday life, work and life in Germany.
Integration courses
The integration courses consist of:
- a language course
- an orientation course
At the end of the course, the following exams will take place:
- German test for immigrants (DTZ - level A2/B1)
- Test "Life in Germany"
German Courses for Professionals
In the job-related German courses, participants learn German for the world of work.
The contents include, for example:
- Communication in the workplace
- Applications and job search
- Occupational orientation
- Education and training
A language certificate at level B1 is usually required for participation.
At the end of the course, the exam "Deutschtest für den Beruf (DTB)" takes place.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where and when do the courses take place?
Depending on the course, lessons take place five or three days a week. Class hours are in the morning, in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening and can be arranged individually within this framework.
We offer both face-to-face and online courses.
How much does it cost to participate in the courses?
For the integration courses, the participant fee for self-payers is € 4.40 per lesson. A reduction of the participant fee to € 2.20 per lesson can be requested from the BAMF. In the case of benefits under SGB II, an exemption is possible. We are happy to help you with your application.
For the vocational German language promotion, the participant fee for professionals is € 2.32 per lesson unit. Exemption from costs for benefits under SGB II or low income is possible.
What do I need to attend a course?
We are at your disposal for a personal consultation. Please make an appointment with us and bring the following documents with you:
- ID card/residence permit
- Eligibility certificate issued by the Employment Agency or the Job Centre or admission to the BAMF integration course (if available)
- Benefit notice SGB II/decision on housing allowance/social assistance notice (if relevant)
Is it possible to start running courses?
Yes, it is generally possible to start courses that are already running if there are remaining places. For this purpose, please contact the contact persons mentioned above.
ANNI - Ankommen Nachhaltig integriert
In the ANNI - Ankommen Nachhaltig integriert project, we advise and accompany people from third countries during and after their participation in a language course.
The CJD is a certified provider of language courses and further education measures and is funded by the BAMF.
